Ingredients (1 serving):
- 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened oat milk (or almond, soy, or dairy milk)
- 1 MIKEI® capsule opened, powder only
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp ground ginger (or a thin slice of fresh ginger)
- 1 small pinch nutmeg or cardamom (optional)
- 1 tsp honey, maple syrup, or date syrup (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- In a small pot, warm the milk over medium heat until steaming (don’t boil).
- Whisk in reishi powder, cinnamon, ginger, and any optional spices.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring gently so the powder dissolves.
- Remove from heat, stir in sweetener and vanilla extract.
- Strain if using fresh ginger, then froth with a whisk or frother for a latte-like texture.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
