Reishi Spiced Latte (Caffeine-Free)

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened oat milk (or almond, soy, or dairy milk)
  • 1 MIKEI® capsule opened, powder only
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger (or a thin slice of fresh ginger)
  • 1 small pinch nutmeg or cardamom (optional)
  • 1 tsp honey, maple syrup, or date syrup (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small pot, warm the milk over medium heat until steaming (don’t boil).
  2. Whisk in reishi powder, cinnamon, ginger, and any optional spices.
  3. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring gently so the powder dissolves.
  4. Remove from heat, stir in sweetener and vanilla extract.
  5. Strain if using fresh ginger, then froth with a whisk or frother for a latte-like texture.
  6. Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
